circadium rhythms?
Question: Hi. I was just wondering if anyone knew what a cat's natural circadium rhythm is? my cat always wakes up at five in teh morning and will not stop meowing. Is this natural? Are they morning and night animals and afternoon sleepers by nature? thanks for any considerations. Answer: i don't know anything about their circadium rythms, but i do that my cat wakes up at fiveish or so, and sleeps heavly in the afternoon, cats are nappers they don't sleep just at night, they love to nap Answer: I notice my cats are most active about four times a day: early morning, mid-day, late afternoon-early evening, and late evening. The rest of the time they're sleeping and/or resting/dozing. The active period only lasts about 15-30 minutes. Answer: I have a cat licking my nose between 430-5am every morning wanting attention.
