pulling the plugs
Question: my kitten keeps unplugging our stuff.lol its not realy funny, i know it can be dangerous, and i hid the cables and cords as much as i acn, but he still sqeueezes through, andmesses with our power cords...how can i teach him not to....it's impossible, isnt it? Answer: Have you tried bitter bite? Just a small emount on the wire wouldnt hurt id have thought. Answer: This is in another thread, but it's the same answer for a similar problem: Answer: I have been having trouble with my kitten with this as well. I was wondering if Bitter Apple or something would work - I will give it a try. Thanks! Answer: i havent tried that yet. i thought it was only for dogs. thanks!!! Answer: Denzel used to do this quite a bit too, but he just stopped doing at about 6 or 7 months of age. I didn't make it a big deal if I caught him doing it and maybe he just got bored with the cords. I don't know. Sorry I don't really have any proper advice for you. I used to really stress he'd bite through them. Answer: hmmm...get one of those cord protectors, and also some kind of socket protector so it doesn't get pulled out. the reason im not sure that putting bad-tasting stuff on the wires won't work is because they chew with their teeth, and barely any will get on their tongue anyway. -maybe your cat is doing this because of a lack of toys to play with? that's an idea. FEED ME! My 21 cats Answer: my cats had an obsession with cords, but they suddenly stopped caring about cords at about 6 months of age. whew!!! maybe yours will grow out of it! Answer: I really think this is something they grow out of eventually. Every kitten I have had has done this, and then at about 8 months-a year of age, they just stopped.
