Chester is leaving other kinds of presents in the litter box
Question: My kitties have both been recovering from a nasty case of intestinal parasites and inflammed intestines so when I can, I try and monitor their trips to the litter box. Last night I caught Chester (the kitten) in the box and after he got out I noticed something bright red towards the back. The box is covered so I didn't get a good look at first. I was thinking "oh god that is a lot of blood". So I lifted up the lid only to find a red pom pom cat toy half burried in the litter.......silly cat. Also I am thinking I need to buy a fountain because chester loves water! He especially like fresh running water. Anytime I turn on the bathroom sink he jumps up on the counter to have some. He can't really reach the stream of water but he has this nasty habit of licking the bottom of the sink immediately after which I try and deter him from doing. ~ Kris ~ Proud mother of 2 furry children - Willis and Chester. I don't know what to do about his toys, though. At least that's all it was. Answer: Is he doing this with all his toys, or is it just one old toy that smells bad? Maybe that's why he's burying it. cats leave pawprints on your heart Answer: It'a a toy he ripped off our new cat condo. Within an hour he had broken both toys off. He recently rediscovered this toy under some piece of furniture and then proceeded to rip it to shreds all over the apartment and sorta buried what was left of it in the litter box. He is quite something for being only a few months old. I will probably get them a fountain in a couple of months. I need to wait until the vet visits subside. ~ Kris ~ Proud mother of 2 furry children - Willis and Chester. I told him if this bad behavior continues and if he doesn't grow some longer hair I am going to have to return him. Just kidding of course... ~ Kris ~ Proud mother of 2 furry children - Willis and Chester. Answer: My Sam used to like running water, too. I left the faucet on tje bathroom sink running for him while i was at work. Eventually he learned how to turn the kitchen faucet on himself. It was one that had the single long lever control, so it was easy for him to work. cats leave pawprints on your heart Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
