cats and chocolate??
Question: My cat, Yoda, loves fudge bars. If I eat one, she is on my lap trying to lick the other side!! If I let her have a little, will it hurt? I hope not, she seems to really enjoy it when I let her have the last few licks that are left on the stick!! Answer: A couple licks won't hurt your cat but if she was to ingest a large amount at once it can seriously hurt her or it can even be fatal. It's much more common to see a chocolate toxicity in a dog since they are much more apt to eat their weight in chocolate than a cat but cats are still negatively effected by chocolate when too much is eaten. So in short a few licks here and there won't hurt her but don't split the bar with her! ~Jessica & The Kitty Crew Answer: Mah cat loves speghetti and meatballs. When I have leftovers in my plate, she sneaks on the table to eat when Im away. One time she ate a lot. She seem fine. Should I be worry if she eats a lot? Answer: Onions are known to harm cats. Garlic is questionable. My cats seem to like the tomato sauce, but leave the onions out. I wouldn't give her spagetti on a regular basis, however. Um She only ate the spaghetti and meatball from the can chef borardee.(?) Answer: Chocolate is very toxic to cats, if you them a little, it could make them really sick. The only part you can give your kitty, is the vanilla side, that is all. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
