An older cat..

Question:
Hi, Im just wondering when a kitten will actually mature, like not be so active, and be biting everyone's hand. Is it like about the age of 1 or older, since Im thinking of getting an older cat for my grandma, and she doesnt really have that much energy to play with a kitten. Thanks!
Answer:
Different cats mature at different rates. A good approximate for crossing from kittenhood into adulthood is about 12 months. At this age, activity levels tend to slow down a bit compared to kittenhood. However, you can have a 2-year-old cat that’s hyper and very active.
"With the qualities of cleanliness, discretion, affection, patience, dignity, and courage that cats have, how many of us, I ask you, would be capable of being cats?"

Answer:
I have a 7 year old cat that sleeps all day and is hardly active unless it finds fly or you have a flashlight. Another cat is also 7 and hyper as all heck.
Ouch.
Answer:
My cat is 2 years old and if your feet are exposed during night he makes them his midnight snack
