Cookie Dough
Question: So I am baking cookies tonite (butter cookies) and realized that one of my cat is enjoying the batter ( I dropped pieces of them on the floor without realizing). Is it ok for cats to eat cookie dough? Answer: Well, not on as the main food source jk I'm sure he'll be fine. Thomas eats everything and anything...and he's okay, well, sort of. I'm assuming there wasn't anything in there that was really bad for cats like onions, chocolate, etc. (chocolate onion butter cookies anyone?) I mean butter cookies, that's like, butter, sugar, flour, vanilla, eggs, right? Nah, that'll just make him a little hyper. He should be fine, just keep an eye on him. Answer: haha I am not revealing my secret ingredient..LOL yeah butter, eggs, sugar, flour and vanilla extract. Wonder if I can give them one as a treat? Answer: Probably not the best idea. Raw eggs and all that. Also, I think if they got too much they might throw up. A few bites..okay, but too much will make them vomit, don't you think? Answer: Raw egg would be my only concern. But then again I have read recipes that say to add raw eggs for animals. Eitherway I would really minimize the amount given, if any. Answer: thanks, yeah she "found" bits of cookie dough on the floor and started eating it (crazy consider that she doesn't like any cat treats). I gave her some crumbs today when I was eating the cookies.... Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
