trimming kittens nails
Question: How old does a kitten have to be before you trim their nails? Does it matter? Buddy is about 7 weeks now, and his nails are like little razor blades, my boyfriend asked me to trim them, but I wasn't sure if i could... --JA Answer: I think it would be OK, just don't cut too close. Answer: I don't see any problem with it. It is good to start when kittens are young so they become used to it. Lori and Velvet Answer: Lori wrote: I don't see any problem with it. He didn't like it AT ALL! (then agian, Nya hates it too...) hopefully since he's a kitten, it will get easier as he gets used to it. --JA Answer: The more you play with their paws and pads when they are kittens, the easier it is for them to trust you with their "weapons" when they get older. Keep working at it, and when they are lounging close by, reach over and smoosh and rub their paws between your fingers. They'll get used to it. Bobbie (\__/) (='.'=) This is Bunny.
