Question:
So I took her into the vet today. She's been the same, not eating, sleeping all day (for 3 days), and she seemed to have a fever. Today I noticed that she seemed thin again. I had just got her up to 7lbs, and she seemed to have lost weight in less than a week.
When I took her in, they checked her out, told me that she DOES have a fever (40.1) and she had lost a pound (as I said, she was 7 on Nov. 6, when she was in last, and now is 6lbs on the nose) which means she had lost it in less than 2 weeks (VERY UNHEALTHY). I had to leave her to run a bunch of tests, and I've never left her before so I practically cried, since she's such a sensitive cat, and she just clung to me. She didn't want me to go. They just called me to say that there is blood in her urine, but they couldn't find anything else wrong with her. They want to keep her overnight, and give her i.v. fluids. I said okay, since it's best for her. It's going to be wierd tonight, without her on the bed beside me. I just hope that they find out what's wrong with her so we can get it fixed... keep her in your thoughts!
