Merrik canned food runny?
Question: I just opened a can of Merrik southern delight , not expired, and it was really runny, not the consistancy of the other kinds I bought. Anyone ever buy this flavor? Answer: Yes, I've bought Merrick, and some of their foods are very 'runny'. But my cat likes the sauce. Does your cat eat it? Merrick seems to be a good quality food. Answer: I should add that my cat would not eat a can of Merricks' that was NOT runny, and she is now eating something else which I mix with water to make a sauce. Answer: Some of them are kind of like stew or canned tuna in consistency. Other flavors are a little more solid. But none are loafy like most cat food. Answer: I feed Merrik too - they have lots of different kinds of food. Some are a bit chunky and shreded, some are pate style with sauce and some have completely solid like you would see in Wellness. They have lots of different varieties - which is nice - because if your pet doesn't like certain textures then you can always pick out a different one. Aimee aka "Kitty" "Not all who wander are lost." -Tolkien Answer: My cats LOVE Merrick...I opened a can the other day and it was super runny, but they seemed to like it. They used to only eat Nutro, but now I have convinced them to eat Merrick too....they eat both eagerly, so I'm happy. There really is nothing better than a weekend! Answer: Just think of it as "juicy" -- hey, it's just gravy, like real food. Actually, come to think of it, Merrick's IS more like real food. Some cats like that, some don't. Tim Answer: I picked up some Merrick last week for my FurKids, I got New England Boil, California Roll and Surf-N-Turf. There were some runny ones but I forgot which. Oddly enough, my cats didn't seem too thrilled about it at all. Answer: Thanks for all the replies! He likes it, esp. when it is runny or juicy, I just thought it being that runny that it might not of been good, because some of the other flavors weren't like that. Glad to know. He likes gravy and nutro doesn't get it with him. Answer: Please see my last post here: Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
