Sit kitty, Sit
Question: Mia decided to play a fun new game today, it's called "sit on mommy's feet when she's trying to walk through the kitchen." I couldn't believe it. She was unusually clingy today -- like she needed to be touching me at all moments in time. Sitting on my lap, sitting in front of me on the computer, etc. Then I went in the kitchen and briefly paused here and there to tidy things, she kept trying to sit on my feet!! She'd plop her butt right down on them, I tried repeatedly to avoid her so I wouldn't kick her in the butt. She just kept trying sometimes while I was moving!! She even started kind of walking with her butt first, and sort of "aiming" it at my feet. Julie Answer: aww that's sooo cute! another great creation by ForJazz Answer: Awwww!!! ~Melissa ~FengShui Bengals Answer: Yeah -- I have to admit it was pretty cute. She's such a little darling. Julie Answer: Maybe we can work out a deal and umm... you can give me Mia? Deal? deal. ~RB~ Answer: Rob -- you know better! I am completely head over heels in love with her, and I love it when she does new things, and when I get to know her a bit more. When it comes to Mia, I feel like a freshman geek chasing after the prettiest senior girl in the whole class. Julie Answer: oh boooo The way you've described Mia's disposition really reminds me of Elly. Not only that, but they're both small, and I think they both have incredibly cute faces so of course I love Mia. ~RB~ Answer: They *do* both have those really cute faces -- I always ask Mia when she is going to grow out of her kitten face. She is stuck in that phase I think. Elly is small? She always looks so long and lean to me. Mia is about 6 pounds now, and to me she always looks huge in her pictures compared to how she really is. I swear she's all skin and fur -- she's the smushiest kitty I've ever met. But I totally agree -- Elly has that completely precious look about her that no human with a heart could resist. Julie Answer: Thanks for the comments, I'll pass them to Elly. Proportionately, she is very long and lean, but only tips the scales at a whopping 7 pounds. I believe she's just about done growing, as tomorrow is her first birthday. ~RB~ Answer: Oh my, 7 lbs at almost a year? Envy is just over 7lbs at just having turned 5 months old...its all muscle though, guess she's out of the running for Miss Petite Kitty 2004. I agree Elly and Mia have the CUTEST faces!!! (well not as cute as my Envy or Chaos but i'm bias, im their mommy) ~Melissa ~FengShui Bengals Answer: I'm pretty sure Bengals are known for their size; I really like big cats but am happy that I have two small ones. ~RB~ Answer: Padunk wrote: Thanks for the comments, I'll pass them to Elly. Mia is short and stubby. lol. Julie Answer: hey, kat weighs about 7 pounds too! we shuld have a 7 pund club or something. -faile artistry by ForJazz Answer: What's with all the skinny cats? Cleo *only* weighs 9 lbs now (down from 14) and I keep thinking that she is *so* tiny. When ever friends come by and ask how she's doing, I say "Skinny!" I guess she's tiny compared to how huge she used to be . Thanks Des for the fabulous sig! Jazz was tiny and she was 7 too. Jack was 11 last time I took him to the vet at around 8 months old...he's probably about 13 now, and NOT fat. I seriously just think kitties are "supposed" to weigh more than 6 pounds....lol. Julie Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
