Question:
I was sitting on the couch with Andy (he was watching the olympics basketball.. not for me.. ) when I got up I had seen out the window we had a momma turkey and about 8 babies... EIGHT?!?! holy cow!!!!!!
anyway.. I snapped some pictures.. and thought I would share..
ohh yeah.. and an update.. that guy must have pleaded out of court.. but we havent heard anything from the conservation officer about it.. but Im pretty sure that guy wont be able to touch our new turkeys..

the last one is where the turkey was just kind of wandering around.. you can see mamma turkey watching it.. she was very aware the whole time they were out there.. I think its great how protective animals are of their young..
in this picture it kind of gives you a good idea of how big the front yard is.. it was just on the other side of that picture where the guy shot the turkey at..

here is Aspen ... I had the flash off while I was taking pictures of the turkeys.. so it wouldnt flash back at me on the window.. and I got a picture of Aspen.. I just thought it was a way cool picture with the light being behind him..
hmmm I thought there was a camera smilie.. but I cant find it..

thanks... I guess I should say... they arent MY turkeys.. lol.. they are the wild turkeys.. but since we feed them and they go thru our yard with out a care we kind of call them ours..
