My dear departed Clown Loach

Question:
For those who haven't read my latest journel entry, my clown loach passed away this weekend. We are not sure whether it was the Ich or that plastic plant that got him. But I know that he will be missed. I loved his antics as he fluttered around the tank, they way he fought the stream from the circulating pump. He was a beautiful fish and I will never forget him. I only hope that my pictures turn out, as I would not want to forget his face. RIP little loachy.

Answer:
I'm sorry to hear about your loach Lixx. It sounds like he was quite the character.

Answer:
Oh Lixx, I'm sorry to hear of the passing away of your clown loach. They are such beautiful little fishies. I'm sure his life in your tank was a very happy one.

Answer:
I'm sorry to hear about your fish, Lixx. What was his name? I'm sure he had a very happy life with you

Answer:
Aww Lizz, I am sorry to hear your clown loach passed. I didn't realize you were having a problem with Ich.

Answer:
I'm so sorry, Lixx, fish are so cool and I'm sure he was awesome. Good luck with the photos.

Answer:
Unfortunatly Shadowlark, I had not named him yet. I was working on telling the 3 of them apart. So I called them all 'loachy'. I really think it was the plant that got him as the other 2 have Ich as well, and are doing very well, highly active -spots are getting to be less. But I'll never know. But atleast the (fake) plants are removed and can't possibly get anyone else. If the pics turn out, I will be sure to post them!
Thank you for your condolenses. Not everyone understands the loss of a fish. Most just say "that's what happens with fish ownership, they die" But they deserve as much love as any other pet. I plan to have my fish for a very long time. He was only about 1.5" long. For a fish that gets 12-18", that's young.
