More Animal Hoarders
Question: Dozens of animals taken from Pa. home The Associated Press Last Updated 2:54 pm PST Monday, January 10, 2005 WAYNESBURG, Pa. (AP) - Police and animal control officials have confiscated dozens of cats and dogs that were living in a small house with three adults. The animals included 47 dogs, along with cats and guinea pigs. They were confiscated Friday by police and animal control specialists in Greene County. Borough Manager Jed Howard said the smell from the home was overwhelming. Authorities went to the home after the building was condemned and the residents were ordered out. "We're standing about 20 feet from the house and we can still smell it," Howard said Friday. The tenants had been renting the apartment for about a month. The landlord, Doug Hoskins, said he had no idea the tenants had animals. The pets were well fed, but officials said they were living in deplorable conditions. The animals were taken to the local humane society office. http://www.sacbee.com/24hour/weird/s...10021976c.html Answer: Yuck. I just hate stories like this. I find it ironic that the landlord was unaware of their animals. Answer: Yeah really. How can you not notice 47 dogs?! Answer: The only thing some people notice is that they are getting money. No care for anything else. Obvesly the landloard didnt live in the building. Answer: Oh my. I hate stories like these...I wonder if they need foster homes? I'm in New York and could probably take in some guinea pigs. Answer: I wonder if they need foster homes? I'm in New York and could probably take in some guinea pigs. It's worth a try, Sasami.
