Question:
One of the dogs that I petsit/walk at least 3 times a week was euthanized last week.

His name was Ty, he was a 12 year old sheltie. I took care of him for a year, along with the woman's 3 other dogs. I am going to miss him so much. It is still hard to go over there and not have him greet me with such enthusiasm.

Nancy (his owner, my boss), took him to the emergency vet when she noticed that he was acting very lethargic and would not eat or drink. After many blood tests, it was determined that he had leukemia Nancy stayed with him the whole time and had him cremated.

Ty, you will always be remembered, I will love you and miss you forever. My dog Simba will take care of you, along with my 3 newts, 2 hamsters, 5 guinea pigs and 2 chinchillas.

That does make me feel a bit better about the whole thing, that he lived so long. She still has another sheltie, he is 16 He is incredibly healthy it slmost scares me. She also has two papillions that are 3 and 9.
