Dog gets $47,500 windfall

A DOG in Britain was £20,000 ($47,500) better off today after an 85-year-old widow left the Staffordshire bull terrier the money in her will.
Ruby Hughes, a widow from Yarnton, north-west of London, also left £90,000 to a rescue group for the breed and requested that her dog Susie's money be invested and the interest used for her keep, the Daily Telegraph newspaper said.
