urns

Question:
I seen this urn on ebay and I am thinking of getting it for Wooki.
does anyone have any experience with urns.. like what size would be good for a chinchilla?? right now he is in a 3" tall tin.. and I would rather him be in an urn. I like this one.. and it is a little bigger than the other small ones. I think he would fit in it. the next size up would be a 6" that might be a smidge too big..
this one is only 15.00 and 4.00 shipping so its a very very resonable price.
this is the description..
This is a brand new solid brass mini cremation urn. The beautiful engraving on this keep-sake is entirely hand done.
It comes with a very secure threaded "screw-on" top lid and felt bottom.
Height: 3.5" Width: 2" CU.Inches-- approx: 4

A beautiful velvet case is also included for free and is used to display, store or travel. This urn would sell for over $60.00 at funeral homes

now to see if I can post a picture or not.. still not sure if I can figure it out..
got it.. that was way easier than I thought..
I also included a picture of my Wooki.. poor guy.. I still miss him so much..

Answer:
Pam, I am sorry to hear about Wooki The urn is very pretty, and classy looking. I think it sounds like a really good price too. Sorry, I would have no idea about size though.

Answer:
That urn is beautiful, Pam.

Answer:
thanks.. now the only thing would be to have Andy transfer his ashes... as I could not... Im glad that he is in a plastic bag inside the tin.. (that what a friend says.. cause she has her cat in one too.. from the same place)
Pam, I am sorry to hear about Wooki
thank you very much!!

Answer:
I also think it's classy looking... it would be a beautiful tribute to Wooki.

Answer:
thank you...
and I will also be able to do what I wanted to do in the first place... put some dust bath in with him...

Answer:
Awww, he'd love that! (The dust bath and the urn)

Answer:
well I bought it today... cant wait for it to get here.. and I will let others know if it is big enough.. Keeping my fingers crossed.. Im pretty sure it will be fine..

Answer:
Pam what a beautiful urn for your baby. I hope it's the right size

Answer:
he fits!!!!! Im so happy... I didnt want to put him in there tho.. I mean me physically didnt want to pick up the baggie and transfer him...
I got everything ready for Andrew to do it for me.. then I opened up the tin and grabbed the baggie... and just put it in.. it actually wasnt that big of a deal to do.. I just thought of other things so that I wouldnt think of what I was doing.

the painting isnt perfect... but it is MUCH better then keeping him in a tin...

if any one else is interested about urns just let me know and I can point you in the direction.. or I can just post a link here for the ebay store that the guy had..
