My mom just called and said that her dog Gretchen's brother had to be put to sleep today. He had an enlarged heart and went to the ER several times. Today he went back and couldn't breathe if they took the oxygen away. It came as a big shock to us. Buddy lived across the street from my parents for his entire life. His owners were our neighbors and they got him when we got Gretchen. He was 9 years old.

Rest in peace Buddy. I can't believe you are gone.

Thanks. Its such a shock that he's gone because he and Gretchen were siblings. It makes me worry about her too. He was pretty overweight though. I really think that had something to do with it.
