:'( I'm sad to say yesterday the 2 kits and mom were doing well....
I was in the "animal room" (it's also my sister's room) all day. About a half hour in there, the mom was away from the kits. I checked on them and saw one was on it's side, laying there, not looking good. I then took it out right away. His body looked 'flat.' I saw him gasping for breath. I then gave "chin CPR" which my mom taught me how to do a while back, so I did it right, didn't give too much air, etc.
I knew he would die soon, as he was streching, and spasming. :'(
I held him for 15-30 min. (I didn't really keep track of the time) and then he died. While I held him I just talked to him, praying for him to get out of pain but live, and sobbed--trying to keep my tears from falling on him.
It was so sad, my friend was with me the whole day like she always is and she too cried and said it was one of the sadest days of her life. In a little lover 24 hours of being here, it was so sad to see him suffering. All I could do was cry.
He left behind his mom and brother.

Elmo and his sibling fought the day they were born. He sadly died yesterday even after all the supplementing. After holding him for about 20 min. he died. About 30 min. after Maroon. :'( Elmo left behind his mom and 3 siblings.
March 16th 2005--A heart-breaking day. :'(
