Nature's Miracle Pet Wipes

Question:
Has anyone ever used these before? I've been looking for a natural wipe for my ratties. The only kind that I can find in the small animal section at pet stores are ones that are "baby powder scented" and I really think it would be too harsh for them. I found the Nature's Miracle wipes in the dog section and it says they are for dogs, cats, and other small animals. It says its safe and natural, and removes dirt and dander. I tried them out on Ollie (cat) first, and it dried really quickly and didn't really leave a residue or anything. So I used it on my three oldest ratties and they were fine with it. My main concern is that it will make them sneeze since ratties are so sensitive to things in the air. I figured it would be safe though because Nature's Miracle cage cleaner is safe for ratties. What do you guys think? According to description, its safe to use on ears and faces and has all natural plant ingredients.

Answer:
Considering how well Nature's Miracle works and how pet friendly it is, I would not hesitate to give those wipes a try. in fact, I think I have a coworker who uses them on his dog who has long facial fur and gets it messy sometimes. I'll try to remember to ask him about it (he's out of the office this week due to death in the family)

I think one of our former members also used unscented baby wipes from a cruelty free company for her chinchilla. I'll try finding the thread that talks about them.

Answer:
I was wrong...it was for her piggies

Here is the thread discussing it

And she said she bought Seventh Generation all-natural baby wipes from a natural products store.

Thanks! Ratties do need to be wiped off or bathed once in awhile, so I'd love to have a good natural and cruelty free product. I've been trying to find a shampoo for them as well. I found a great one called "Dirty Rat" but its in the UK so I would have to order it online and have it shipped over.

Answer:
Steph, I use the 7th Generation Baby Wipes for Nemo's bum. They are great! The ones you purchased sound very safe.

Answer:
Well, I have never used them, nore do I have a rat. But if they where fine with three, I don't think it would be a problem. But I don't know much about rats.

Answer:
I would not hesitate to use Nature's Miracle wipes, I love that product! Too bad none of the stores around here carry it
