Question:
I am in 4H and there are a few questions I have to answer but I can't so can you guys help me?

Here goes:

What is the primary food nutrients required by all animals?

What are the secondary food nutrients?

Animals require food for three main purposes, what are they?

Now that last question is kinda dumb, My answer would be "to live" but I dont think that will be accepted. LOL

Any help will be tremendously(sp)? appreciated!! Any and all opinions are welcome!!!!!!

Vitamins and Minerals

Ah! I think I got last one wrong! It's mantainance, growth and reproduction! production is a fourth purpose that, when you are breeding feedstock, you want to feed some extra for the animal to produce (first is maintainance, the minimum they need to keep alive... then growth, if they have some extra nutrients... if they have enough for maintainance and growth, then they can spare all the extras for reprodution, and if you offer more nutrients than they need for these three, then they produce...) 8)
