Question:
Orbit passed away shortly after noon today. I went to give him some baby food (his favorite), and he must have just passed away as he was still warm. I am going to miss him, he was my little buddy. He was a good hedgie, he never hissed or balled up on me unless something was wrong, he use to love annointing with my watch strap. He will be missed by the entire family

Thanks Sophie! We sure did do everything for him, but I guess when they get old, there isn't much we can do. I was actually watching him this morning, seeing how much he was eating, and was going to talk to the family about taking him in, and helping him to cross the bridge, but I guess he too knew that it was his time.

Aww, I am so sorry! I was thinking he was eating and holding his own- goes to show you what I know. Those hedgies just know better and he knew it was his time to go. I am sure he is snuffling around looking for mealies and bugs over the bridge. I am glad he went peacefully for you.
