Im just ready now to post a memorial to Mowgli, but I have really sad news...
Mahone and Minnie were sent to heaven today... Its been such a friggin horrible day. Minnie has been dead lame for the last week and yesturday Mahone tripped and hurt his shoulder so bad it would be cruel to keep him just for our benefit. Minnie and Mahone are soul mates. They do not go anywhere without the other. Minnie has been very frail for the last two months and has even been retired just from the odd bareback pony ride. Her time has been coming for a while. Mahone had hope after all the vet work and hand work but he just didnt have luck on his side.
Both were older though Mahone was only 25. Minnie came to us last year as a horse so starved we had purchased a shot to put her to sleep if she fell down as she was from the meat auction but we thought we would give her a try at a good life until her time comes. Her thoroughbred Tattoo stated she was 29 this year.
I will write a Memorial for them both when I am ready.
