In loving memory of Minnie
Question: Her story: Minnie was picked up by us at a meat auction. She was about 250pds underweight and so weak we purchased enough traquilizer to put her to sleep with the 50/50 chance we had of her not falling from weakness in the trailer during the ride home. All ofher ribs could be counted and she was mostly a skeleton but determined to pull through. She put on weight nicely which meant she had just endurn much abuse and neglect/lack of feed. She was rideable after about 5 months of recovery and loved to be with childred. She would close her eyes when being brushed. Sometimes she relaxed so much when people brushed her that she would fall asleep and jump when awakened later. Though we did not have a huge amount of time with her. She will be greatly missed. She went to sleep happy and fat eating her alfalfa with her friend Mahone in sight. Answer: A very nice tribute Answer: Minnie was a beautiful horse. You showed a great amount of compassion by rescuing her. You made her last few months special with all the food, love and attention given her.
