In loving memory of Mahone

Question:

His story:
Mahone was raised in Kamloops. He was used as a track catcher and would help lead out and return the race horses from practise as well as actual races. He was later pony clubbed until the age of 20. He came to us as a polite horse with a few tricks up his sleeve but nothing to harm us ever. His last trick turned into a tragic accident when he spooked and flipped over backwards and broke his thorassic vertibre. He was taken care of by a great vet until we were able to care completely for him without the vets assistance. He was completely able to walk and trot at his own will within two months of hard work to get him back to health. He was feeling so good he would even chase me while I went to put hay in his feeder. A day before he had to be put to sleep he slipped while in the grass field. He injured his right shoulder where his vertibre sat after being broke earlier a few months prior. He could not be saved unfortunately and was sent to heaven with his soul mate Minnie who was starting to slow down and came up dead lame a few weeks before his accident. Mahone would not leave without Minnie nor would he leave without her. I believe they are up over the rainbow running free together.
