(They are also going to other cities in Canada so check the site if you want to know if they will be in your area)

Answer:
oh my goodness,,,,that would be so so much fun!!!!

i wish they would come here, or even to Moncton
Have fun, i cant wait to hear all about it

Answer:
Ohh I am jealous, I bet it will be a fabulous time

Answer:
I was thinking of attending this. Which day are you going, Sophie? Which day do you think will be the least busy?

Answer:
I think we'll go on Saturday (I haven't officially told Tim we were going yet ). I think both days will be pretty busy but maybe early morning would be less busy?

Answer:
I stopped going to this (the name changed to Pet Expo last year I think, but it was called something else before that). I found in the last couple of years it has been all about making money for them. The fees to get in were raised alot, yet what they charge for a table is through the roof (average $1,500 a table), so it is a huge money maker for someone. also, it has a major focus only on dogs and cats now. My friend from the Humane Society (non profit) has a table there every year, and they charge her $1,800 for her table on a corner.
I am not sure what the one for Vancouver is like, but the attendance for the one in Victoria decreased majorly since the changes last year.

Answer:
Looks like they cancelled the one in Victoria this year. It also looks like they put the price of tables down. The registration page on the site says tables are $895 max in Calgary and Vancouver.

I think we'll check it out anyway and see what there is to see. I've got no expectations other than hopefully seeing some cute furries.

Answer:
$895 is still alot for a non-profit organization I think. This is what I was reading for victoria:
November 23, 2005
Canwest Shows Inc. will be postponing the 2006 Victoria PetExpo - February 18 & 19th, 2006.

Answer:
I'd still like to go, just to see for myself since I've never been before. I think it might be fun for my kids. My husband can't go with me because he needs to work on my car (what fun!), so I'm trying to talk one of my parents into coming along. I don't really want to take both my kids all the way into downtown Vancouver all by myself. I hate Vancouver.

Anyway, we'll probably go first thing on Saturday morning, so maybe we'll see you there, Sophie!

Answer:
Didn't see you Sohpie, but I thought the expo was lots of fun. I took my kids and my dad came along, too. There were lots of snakes! I got to hold one! They also had this safari-style stage show that my son really enjoyed.
