Coqui
Question: Yup, another one got into my room... lol.. I was in my couch and my sister was exiting my room, and she looks at the crab tank while walking out and tells me "what's that? You have a frog in there?!?!?!" and I was like "no... those are crabs, you silly" and she was like "no, that's a frog, come and see!" and she was right, it was a coqui hanging out in the fern I have in there... How he got in there, I have no idea... the tank has a wire mesh lid... but still... I just took the pic, catched him and put him out. 8) And in case anyone wants to know... here is a link to a small clip that demonstrate the coqui's song. 8) http://www.dylia.com/coquies.au Hope you like it... that's how it sound around my house at night... LOL.. combined with cricket sounds and some other night sounds... lol Answer: He/she is a little cuttie pie and a good singer..lol Red Answer: How tiny is he? He's very cute. I found a little black one with red spots once on a plant I bought. I thought it might be poisonous so I wouldn't touch him and scooped him into a cup and took him to the petstore. They told me he was a Columbian (or somewhere) tree climbing frog. They kept him. I used to go to see him but I could never find him. They'd say he's in this tank or that but I never did see him again. They said he was growing. Answer: 8) That frog in there is an adult, and that were he's standing is the rim of a 10g tank (which is the crab tank were he was found)... so that makes him about 1-1.5 inches... LOL.. they are tiny. 8) I really like them. I don't know much about tree frogs, but I assure you that coquies are harmless(genus Eleutherodactylus, 18 species found in PR, 2 of them extinct since the 70's-80's, several other species around the world). I really like coquies, they are my favorite native animal. 8) Answer: He sounds like a lilttle songbird! Answer: Awww, he's lovely! Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
