Sadly Saturday we said our good byes .It was so very hard to let you go .You brought so very much to our family.You had the soul of a gentle old man .I came across you many years back at what was at the time a" Kill shelter".The Manager of the shelter had insisted that you be gassed by lunch,,, for she felt that you were not the handsomest of cats ,,,And would never be adopted .Needless to say I could not resist your scruffy little face and I took you out of the small cage to which you were waiting out your time in ,,,you proceeded to wrap your little arms around my neck and smothered me with your loving kisses.So off we went home and that is where you lived out the last 7 years .
You had the most amazing personality.You loved all people and animals.You were nuts about Dogs ,,who knows maybe you were a dog in a past life.You took on the care of the orphaned kittens ,,,even to the point of cleaning them and letting them nurse of your big belly.I held you while you passed to that Cat Heaven in the sky,,, and sobbed for I did not want to let you go,,, but I new that your old body had had enough and you needed to rest. I laid you to rest at the top of a little Mountain under a lovely Pine tree.I know how very much you loved to lie under a tree and watch the world go bye.
Good bye my little old man ,,,,We will never forget or stop loving you .

Thank you all for your kind words.I am so very thankful to have had him in our family.He was a gift to us and my extended family,,,things are just not the same around here without him .I so miss the funny things that he did.Like how he washed his little feet before every meal .
