ok, so here's a little background..i've posted before about my neighbor and her issues with her pekingese and plans to breed her?

ok well she bred her...so she's so happy that she may be expecting peke-pin puppies "omg they're worth at least $400 each!!" /sarcasm...yeah good for you, you just bred a bunch of mutts..

"ooh but they're all going to look like miniature rottweilers!" right...whatever...for a person who is supposedly so up to date on genetics (her daughter has a genetic disorder and she claims to know all about genetic stuff) she is rather ignorant to some things..like how you can't spontaneously create a new breed of dog just by breeding two different dogs together...it takes generations of selective breeding for specific traits...

right after we moved in, somebody gave her a kitten outside of walmart or kmart or someplace..just gave it to her..well her husband says absolutely no way they are NOT having a cat..so she tries to give it to me...yay! since we lost pepper i've been DYING for a cat..well..greg says absolutely no way will we have another cat so i take it to the next neighbor and her adult male cat, whom we are all scared to death will eat the poor kitten in one bite, decides that is HIS kitten, takes her in, gives her a bath, shows her where the food is and floors us all..ok so the cat has a kitten..

now..not even 6 months later...they get a wild hair up their rears that woohoo we're getting a kitten! what the...they just said they were absolutely NOT getting a cat? ok well, whatever...i'm concerned but you never know, right?

that is until my mom shares with me where she got this kitten...*sigh* she says she spent $100 for the kitten..i'm like well, that's about right after adoption fees, vet visit and all that the humane society or pound will charge when you adopt a kitten..mom's like..no..they got it from this gal..i'm like what?

oh well she had some kittens that were like 9 months old for $25 but the littler kittens were $100...OH MY GOD this went to a kitten mill!!! i can't freaking believe it...

i'm getting mom to find out the details of where she got the kitten from so i can report them as a kitten mill...this just makes my blood boil...grrr

*edit* oh and i had the previous post removed by mods because i was afraid the gal might see it and be offended..well, i don't care if she gets offended anymore...i hope she sees it and i hope she DOES get offended...

the ONLY plus to their potential litter of puppies, is they have promised to give my mother one..and she's rather excited about the possibility of getting a baby..well..and i'm getting there, though the biggest part of me is praying that the breeding didn't take and she isn't pregnant...they are very amateur about it..they left the dogs to do their thing but every time they started, they freaked out and tried to rush the dogs into the bathroom and the kids out of the room...and they claim one of the reasons they are doing this is so the kids can learn about the "miracle of birth" sheesh...if they're gonna learn that part, they oughta learn how the puppies are made! sheesh...

hopefully, she didn't get pregnant, and since we've softened greg up, he will approve of us visiting the pound and picking up a puppy...

well, found out today that she is NOT pregnant..but they decided to get rid of the dog anyways because apparently she decided to start peeing in the floor and trying to lay on the kitten..so rather than actually take care of the issues, they just gave her away. hopefully the new home will take good care of her and not breed her *sigh*

but, we are possibly getting a hermit crab from them! i bought a couple yesterday, as i've been wanting to set up a crabitat for a long time now, and figured since i was quitting wal*mart i may as well celebrate! so i got a couple of cuties, set up my crabitat and she was visiting and said "erm..what do you have in there?" i told her and she said she has one and hates it and i was like, gimme!! lol...apparently, her crab moulted once and she grossed out when it ate it's exo...*sigh*

she's gonna ask her husband if she can give it away
