Question:
As some of you may have seen in my other post, my chinchilla, Skittles, has passed away. I will remeber him forever. He was such a good friend to all of my family. Him just being with us when we were sad or lonely gave us support. He was always there in the morning when we woke up (of course he was sleeping after his long night of play). And we all didn't mind hearing the "sqeak, sqeak" of his beloved exercise wheel at three in the morning.
When I look at the spot in the room where his cage used to be, I feel so alone. I know he is now out of pain, i guess it is the hardest for those of us left living. A couple of weeks before his passing away he was really getting used to getting scratched behin the ear and on his chin, and he actually really enjoyed it! He will never, ever, ever be forgotten.
