Question:
Well, I'm very used to having all of my friends used to closing my doors... it's pretty much second nature to them, since they know that if they don't my hammies would get eaten by either of my cats... but I didn't mention it to Amber, forgetting that she didn't know, since she's never had to before, and so she left the door open and I got up to go pee and my cat was laying on the bed. I went to the hammie cage and looked and didn't see either of them. So I went upstairs and told my mom the hammies were eaten (just a thought, since I found blood [red felt, actually] on the carpet) and so then we wnet and looked and we couldn't find either of them, but then a little while ago my mom found Carmen in a drawer, and I am assuming that Thalea died. But now I have a question... Thalea and Carmen were really attatched, and I know that dwarf hamsters need to live in pairs, or even groups of three. But I also heard that it is hard to introduce older hammies together... so, if I don't find Thalea alive and well in the next few days ( that she is), should I go get another hammie for Carmen, or will she be fine living alone?

No... my cat knows how to get into the cage. He's really smart, he pushes the thing and it snaps open.

I guess I should have mentioned this... we found Carmen alive (YAY! )in the drawer. That's why I was asking about another one if we can't find Thalea (I don't think we wioll, I have looked again today and yesterday with Amber ).
