Petsmart sent me an alert email
Question: Hi everyone, I was very happy to recieve an email from Petsmart stating that I had bought some wet food that may have been recalled. I am relieved to say that I never fed it to any of my hedgies. The important thing here was that Petsmart was able to email me this info because I have a PetPerks card that I use when I make a purchase and thats how they could alert me. Red Answer: wow! that is great! and great you hadn't used it yet. Just found out a rat terrier friend of ours lost a cat and two dogs sick but better- but having tests ran. Another friend lost 3 cats. very sad. Answer: They just discovered it was rat poison in the food from wheat that was obtained from China Glad you never fed it to your hedgies Red! Answer: Hi again, Well P&G sent me an alert email with their concerns regarding Iams and Euknuba. This alert was sent to me because my dad gets some type of product info from P&G. So the pet industry is trying to notify its customers in any way that they can. Red Answer: Jenna, I feel for the pet owners that are going through a rough time right now. Even though I don't have a cat or dog I still consider my hedgies as part of my family and I don't know what I would do if I lost any due to contaminated food. Its a sad sad day for pet owers here and in the USA. Red Answer: This is a scary thing that's happened, I think more people are going to be looking into making homemade pet food and even buying from Mcdonalds or Wendys to make sure we're feeding them food that is safe. I used to just worry about buying offbrand food ( I never bought it ) , but we have to be wary now of even name brand pet food. What a nightmare. http://furryfriendsrescue.bravehost.com/ Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
