The costs behind the spay/neuter procedure
Question: This article helped to answer my questions about the cost of spaying and neutering pets. Spay and Neuter Surgery and The Price You Pay. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else was wondering or getting frustrated with vet prices. (The vet near my place charged $55 per dog for a general checkup, nothing extra, just a look-over, checked temperature and teeth ) Answer: Wow! Thanks for the link! (But the image links at the bottom lead to some pretty gross pictures! ) Answer: Hehe Yep it's ickey. I was thinking about getting Silly neutered. It's $150. It's a lot but I want him to live with Candy because there in love. I got Rocky and Jack spayed and I THINk it was like $200 each. Answer: My St. Bernard was only $90, including her tattoo, for a big dog like that, good deal, and that included her follow up visit. Our lab x was just $65, and that included her tattoo as well as a follow up visit. Answer: I should have added, this is a bit off topic, but.... when I worked at the animal hospital in Ontario, we did a c-section on a boxer, if anyone wants to see pictures, they are old pictures, but I can scan and post them. Including a picture of the newborn pups Answer: firefox2, I think those pictures would be very interesting, please scan and post the if you have time Courtney, $200 each for your JRTs? Lavander cost about $75 but I wasn't too happy with the after surgery care, she had pooped on herself and they didn't even bother to clean her up She was still young, I took her to be spayed after her first heat. But I didn't like them not even trying to clean her up a bit. Answer: I have tomorrow off, so I will scan them and start a thread somewhere for them Answer: Awesome, thanks Answer: This is a great site CJ. Unfortunately the folks who need to see it most probably aren't even on this board. Answer: Yeppers, vet costs here are WAY higher then other places. I have been noticing that now. All our vets are overpriced. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
