My Sweet Baby

Question:
Stinker passed away this morning. I tried to feed her but she kept losing weight and went down to 30g. I stayed up all night with her feeding her and rotating her with Trouble but she lost her strength quickly this morning and struggled to breath. I don't think she developed properly and she was just too tiny.
This is for my Stinker.
I only had you for a short time but I loved you dearly. You were so tiny and fragile but I tried my best to help you out. I wrapped you up tight in a towel to feed you and your head stuck out like a little turtle. For such a small little thing I loved you so much. I tried my best little one but I guess you had to go. You will always be loved and remembered even though your time here was brief. I found your tiny body and my heart just broke apart. I can't believe I found you this way and it's so hard to let you go. You have your daddy up there to take care of you. Always remember you will never be forgotten.

Answer:
I'm so sorry Courtney I lost a baby not too long ago, and I understand how hard it is. You did the best you could ... heck, you're the expert, so if you couldn't do it, then it wasn't meant to be
Take care.

Answer:
Thanks so much everyone for the support. I haven't been posting much because I was up all night and all day feeding Stinker. I didn't have the energy to do anything. I don't think she was fully developed. She was born with her eye's closed and I had to slowly work with them to get her eye's open. They were stuck shut but even when I did get them open she still closed them. I think her lungs didn't develop because right before she died she looked like she was choking and she was swinging her paws. I had her in my hand and I new she wasn't going to make it. It's is very hard to loose a baby, especially after trying so hard to help her. But like lisa said, it wasn't meant to be. When she was born I thought everything was fine and then she slowley withered away even after me feeding her.
So on a happier note, Trouble and Candy are fine. Trouble is at 66g already and she is just so strong. It was so sad to see how much smaller Stinker was compare to Trouble. But I do have a happy healthy new baby. I have never herd a baby screach so loud like Trouble does. That baby has some good lungs on her.

Answer:
I'm so sorry to hear about Stinker, at least she your love until the end

Answer:
Courtney, I'm so sorry about your loss. I know how hard you tried to help your baby. You such a good chinnie mom and you did everything you could. Like I said, her daddy just wanted to have one of his babies to keep him company. You know you can call me anytime you need anything.
