Our county has absolutly NO animal shelter. They are trying to raise funds to get one started and even trying to find a building. Currently all animals are fostered at others homes or at some outdoor kennels at someones house. Around here the fosters are full and unfortunaly most animals only get the minimal amount of time before being PTS.
Anyone who wants to adopt some adorable begals? There having a really hard time placing begals around here they have 3 or 4 of them.
What fund raiser ideas do you have that could help?

How about a walk-a-thon? Try the Toronto Humane Society's website, they have some fund-raising activities that they organize each year - www.torontohumanesociety.com
How about a having a raffle? Or a booth at a county fair or gatherings of that sort to raise money and awareness?

OH yes im still looking and comming up with ideas as well. there having a big garage sale at the begging of next month so there concentrating on that idea and then going to start looking at others ive sent. Im going to the garage sale and probably volunteer my time if needed as well. They have a wonderful lady heading this all up that has organized foster homes for alot of animals but not having an physical shelter they can only do so much.
