Some @#$% here in NS is being sentenced to 2 years without animal ownership & a $350 fine after DRAGGING HIS PUPPY BEHIND HIS TRUCK TIED TO THE BUMPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think he should be in JAIL for that, for a good, long time. He should also NEVER be allowed to own an animal again, &* should have to do community service @ an animal shelter.

my thoughts exactly Ilse......my mom lives in Hamilton, ONT and a few years back it was the "big" thing to tie your rottweilers to the bumpers and drive,,,,alot of the dogs never died but som eof them had to pads left on their feet at all and some had to be put done due to bad bad injuris,,,,,,,I hate people liek this and I think whatever they do should have it done right back to them

Tying a dog to a truck really proves you are a man eh? I agree, this hole needs to be tied to the back of a truck or have some of the nice blokes in prison become their personal ahem 'slave'.

We need to call or write our politicians and get Bill C-10B...Canada's Animal Cruelty Law updated...currently the maximum penalty is $2000- & 6 months jail sentence and prohibited from owning an animal for 2 years....They are wanting it updated to $10,000-, 5 years in jail and Never own an animal again...
I've seen first-hand dog's and cat's that have been abused and it's so sad...they are defenceless animals and they need US to protect them. As far as the abuser doing community service..yes they should..but we don't want them to do it at a shelter!!! Though I have fantisized about locking an animal abuser in a cage with a really mean pitbull or rotti! (not to say that all of those breeds are bad..just an example)
