I am so miffed I can't even see straight! I belong to a local forum in my hometown, we discuss issues etc. Some ignoramus guy starts a topic about barking dogs. The topic turns into a cruelty to cats and dogs as far as I am concerned! Why? Becuz this moron was suggesting using a sling shot and hard candy rootbeer barrels to shut up the barking dogs! Whats worse he suggested to the public to shoot stray cats on sight!
Oh boy did I tell him a thing or two!

We live trap stray cats and turn them in to animal control. Some may be adopted this way - we caught (by hand) most of a litter of adorable black stray kittens, and I bet some if not all of them found happy homes.
I don't know how shooting a barking dog with hard candy would accomplish anything....

Im sure that it probably wouldnt accomplish anything besides the guy getting caught and getting charges brought against him. and that would serve him right. some people are so stupid..
