Bye Bye baby!
Question: Baby was my Clown Loach and she passed away this morning. I really love my loaches but it ended her suffering. She looked pretty sick and was just a baby. She was so tiny and cute. Answer: Aw, sorry to hear that Courtney Answer: Sorry to hear you lost Baby. Many people don't realize how easy it is to get attached to fish, but they are part of our family. Answer: Denise, your right. You can really get attached to fish. I didn't think so but you get so used to them and actually they are a part of the family. Even my dogs like to sit there and watch them swim, LOL. Answer: oh I know the feeling Courtney,,,I get extremly upset when we lose fish,,,,its so sad,,,,,we have put few at ease,,,,when we see they are suffering, we usually kill them, theres a mixture you canuse with vodka and its quick and painless our tanks are semi-aggressive-aggressive so when one fish is ill the other fish usually destroy it and I hate that Answer: What is the mixture? My loach looks soooo bad right now and it's just laying on it's side gasping. I don't know what to do and it's makes me so sad watching him suffer. I hate to be negative and give up but it sure doen't look like he will make it. He's not even moving now. Each minute he looks worse. Answer: I'm not sure..,I will go search and try to find it,,,,,,,,,, I think its 3 parts straight vodka to one part water,,,,,*dont quote me tho* I'm going to try and find it Answer: Thanks! Answer: crap,,,courtney,,I cant find it,,,,,I am going to call Craig, as hes the one who does it,,,,if he doesnt know i will ask where he stashed it in his favorites Answer: Another method that's recommended as humane is to put the fish in a bag of water and freeze it.
