DAWSON CITY, Yukon -- Move over, Sourtoe Cocktail -- here comes the Dogball Hi Ball.
For decades, visitors to Dawson City, Yukon have visited a hotel where they serve up severed human toes in drinks.
The toes, blackened and preserved in brine, are dropped in tourists' tipple of choice -- and if they touch the drinker's lips, the tippler's name goes in a log book.
Now, the Dawson Humane Society has a come up with a concoction that makes the pickled toes seem almost tame by comparison.
It's secret ingredient is a canine testicle, recently parted from its owner.
As with the Sourtoe, if the testicle touches the lips, the drinker's name goes in the book.
The Dogball was introduced at Bombay Peggy's Victorian Inn and Pub on June 27th as part of a fund-raising event for the cash-strapped humane society.

seems like the "fear factor" has truly invade our world...i saw this link on another list with cries of outrage on stopping the cruelty..it's truly disgusting so beware, and doesn't even have something like the humane society's good intentions behind it

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I think it *may* be a good fundraiser. The Sourtoe is quite famous and many tourists visit Diamond Tooth Gertie's (the hotel that makes the drink) each year. Given that the testicle going to waste anyway...I don't really see a problem with it. I agree, it's really disgusting though.
