I dont remember who needed the help keeping their neighbors cats out of their garden but this might help you!!! Its called the Scare crow and you can buy it at the co-op,,,if they say they dont have it, get them to order it in!!!
Dad was having a problem with the neighbors dog coming over and pooping on his front lawn,,,,so he heard about the scare crow from a guy at work and went to the local co-op, they had no clue what he was tlaking about but after a week of looking, they found it for him,,,
Its an automated watering system, you can place it wherever you want and when something steps to close they get soaked,,,,dad SWEARS by it, he said its funny because when the old man walks by his house now he picks up the dog crosses the street ,,walks by dads house, once hes past, he goes back to that side of the street,,LOL,,,Dad figures the dog went on the lawn one day, the old man went to go get the dog and he got sprayed,,LOL
also you can set different things on it ,,,you can have a mist, spray,,etc,,,dad right now has it on the spray so they get sprayed right in the face basically,,,anyways dad and debbie were out on the front porch and this young couple walks by,,they start goofiing off and the guy pushes the girl onto dads lawn,,them both laughing,,the girl got to close and dad said the sprayer went off and got the girl right in the butt, he said he hasnt laughed so hard in a long time,, ,,,this will work for gardens,,,trees, lawns,,,anything you want it for,,,and its the most humane way,,,no poisons,,,etc,.,.,.also it uses 2 cups of water each time, so when it sprays it uses 2 cups then stops, it gives the animals time to get out of there,,if they are not gone in 10 seconds it sprays again...it hooks right up to your garden house and cost about $100.00
the girl who runs the co-op in sussex came by dads house to see how it worked, she was so impressed that shes going to order them in for the store to carry...just thought Id share this,,

That's probably the thing that Greencolonder had recommended.. but didn't know what it was called.. Cool! I'm glad it works.. I should call the Co-op here and see if they carry it.. then I'll recommend it to people that call work to complain about their neighbors cats..

could be,,,alot of people hear about it but dont know the name,,,the reason it has this name is because it also comes with scare crow decals that you can put on it,,,but the dude at the co-op said if you like small birds in your yard dont put them on it becuase the birds will stop coming by,,,dad LOVES birds and so he decided not to use that part of it,,,but it would be good for some people
