SPCA Ad
Question: http://s95428528.onlinehome.us/spca-kids.mov Answer: I'm at work and can't view it Is that the advert that spineless CBC refused to air? Answer: I think that might be the one that you're talking about, Bridget. Answer: I will have to download Quicktime to run the file. Which ad did the CBC refuse? Answer: Oh geez, that was heavy... Answer: " I cry when I'm left alone, will you have me put down?" They totally should air that!! Nothing offensive at all, just the truth. Answer: OMG! That was so awesome! People NEED to see this! Answer: :nods: Answer: That ad is absolutely brilliant Answer: Yes, that's the same ad. Apparently the CBC refused to run the ad, saying it was too 'offensive' and would 'frighten children'. Oh, pleeeeeeeease. Like all those beer ads with the scantily-clad women's crotches almost pressed against the camera don't offend me...and most other women, I suspect. CBC doesn't refuse to air those adverts, though. I think children would benefit from these ads, rather than simply being frightened. It illustrates perfectly that family pets should be treated with the same respect as children. And hopefully it would make adults think. If you wouldn't dump your child in a shelter for messing on the floor or yowling all night, why should you dump your cat or dog? Very well done, thought-provoking adverts. It's a shame not many people will see them. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
