Animal Planet's "That's my Baby"

Question:
Since I have been home from work, I am hooked on watching Animal Planet's "That's my Baby". I am in awe everytime I watch it. What a beautiful show.
It is strange because I have no problem watching an animal give birth but the one time I watched "A Baby Story", I almost passed out.

Answer:
lol, denise i love animal planet. when scott and i couldnt have cable for 3 years because of the cost i went into withdrawls
i love emergency vets, but sometimes i am sobbing by the end of the show

Answer:
roflmao, having 3 kids i can't watch a baby story and have a hard time with that's my baby..not for the gross factor, but because i end up hyperventilating and wetting myself while i push with the mom! lol
i love that's my baby, but some of the people kind of flabbergast me..i mean, i understand standing by to offer assistance with mom having babies...but when they jump in there when mom is doing just fine on their own, interrupting the process and sometimes causing undue stress, i end up yelling at the tv "just back off! let her do her job!"

Answer:
I noticed the owners are always interrupting the mums and I can't figure out why. As the female is pushing the owner is right by her private area to catch the baby. I think it is important to be there when the female is giving birth in case of a problem but is it really necessary to constantly manhandle her during the birthing process?

Answer:
LOL I agree. Leave those moms alone. It is usually dog breeders that are interferring!
I love that show but one episode made me mad. It was the one that had the family with two very ordinary mixed breed cats. They let them mate on purpose!! They "loved them so much, they wanted kittens from them." I think it sent a terrible message to the audience

Answer:
I love the Animal Planet.. I like to watch emergency vets... sometimes when me and Andy are sitting here watching it.. I get teary eyed... and have to turn away from him so he doesnt see.. then I look at him and you can tell he has little welts in his eyes.. lol....
I get choked up on those shows... and forget trying to eat while Im watching one of those things... lol.... I almost gag on my food.. lol

Answer:
the gore doesn't bother me, honestly...but i have a hard time watching animal cops either houston, detroit, new york, or miami..just makes me so mad...
and i have personally boycotted the croc hunter...due to the incident where he fed the croc while holding his 2 month old son...*blink* just seemed way too irresponsible, and then his total lack of understanding why people were upset..hello! croc = water= slippery conditions
slip and fall and that "naughty boy" is munching on your kid, and your mates can't do anything but watch!

Answer:
All of this sounds great! We don't have cable but Mike and I have been leaning towards getting it.
Maybe we should...

Answer:
Ack I want that channel so bad!! But I have to get in in a HUGE package with a whole bunch of other channels I don't want *sigh* I just can't justify it...

Answer:
Animal Planet is like the ONLY channel we all agree on around here! Just no more Animal Videos! That MAtt guy gets on my nerves- just shut up and show the clips! I like the dog Thats My Babies best. Cats, too- but dogs more. I get tired of the aquatic animals and barn animals having babies- mainly because they are all so unpredictable and a lot of times they miss the action because they weren't there all night filming like if it's a dog in the house. Some of them are still good, though. I definitely do NOT watch croc hunter of jeff corbin or any of those shows where they think the entertainment value of an animal is its threat on whoever is stupid enough to play with it. I get pretty mad at the animal cops shows, but I watch them anyway. Sometimes- like when they show poor dogs covered in ticks or mange or emaciated animals- I can't watch it- it just hurts me to much to think someone could bee so uncaring and neglectful.
