Question:
Today is day #10 for Pickles and her stitches. I am going to bring her to the Vet when I get home from work. Hopefully she is healed enough that I can have them removed and she can take that cone off.

The whole cone thing has been trying for all three of us. I cleaned up this weekend because the apt looked like a disaster occured in there. Litter all over the place since I had to take that lip off the cat box since it chaffed her stitches and made it difficult for her to go to the bathroom. Food all over the place because she didn't figure out how to angle her head to get the food in the dish if the dish wasn't 100% full or too full. Water all over the floor from her knocking the dish around.

Not to mention it seems every other day I had to take that cone off and clean the cat poo off of it because she has this habit of trying to sniff what she just...put...in the litterbox and ends up scooping it into her cone.

Love that cat but I can't wait to get those stitches out and the cone off.

Keep your fingers crossed that it can happen today!

Well the trip to the vet went fine. I did see the vet but she didn't remove the stitches. One of the other girls did. I was surprised at how well behaved Pickles was. Although it was probably because she was scared. But she didn't try to bite anyone and not even a growl.

When we got home all she did was lick. Lick lick lick. She seems to be over that and her and Meeko have been playing all afternoon like long lost friends. It's very cute.

The tech said that the wound healed nicely and the puffy lump thing was normal.

Glad to have my kitty cat back to normal! LOL and the lip back on the litter tray!
