New Ollie photo shoot! (Denise!)

Question:
I know you guys love Ollie, so I did a photo shoot for ya! He is a GREAT model lol. He seems to love posing for the pics!

In his favorite position...as usual.

Ollie is always listening to noises and always thinking. You can almost see the wheels turning in his head.

The kitties have lots of nice toys, but they always like the crappy ones the best! Ollie loves this beat up old cat scratching post. Its his favorite!

Another weird toy...a pretzel nugget! He's been playing with it all day and even carrying around in his mouth!

Ollie can straddle anything- even his daddy's leg!

Another of his hobbies...chewing on his foot!

Thats all for now!

Ollie has a cool story. About a week after we moved into this apt, I was doing dishes and I heard a cat meowing outside. It didn't sound a like tomcat, and I couldn't figure out what the cat wanted. I poked my head out of the store, expecting to see a stray kitty who would run as soon as he/she saw me. Instead, Ollie came running up my stairs to me and jumped into my lap! He starting purring and he just stayed in my lap. I was shocked!

He looked like he had once had a home, but he now had fleas and dirty ears, and he was really hungry. I opened my door and he ran right in and acted like he lived there. He walked around on the tables, counters, tv, and even on top of the cabinets! I gave him some food and he scarfed it down, then he sat by Mike's saltwater fish tank and watched the the fish for the longest time! I was so shocked at his behavior! I new he was special. A few min later, a maintenence guy came in for some kind of apt. check, and Ollie just acted like he lived here and kept watching the fish! The maintenence guy thought he was mine! I knew I had to keep this cat! I called Mike and told him about Ollie, and he was really cool about it. When he got home, he fell in love with Ollie and the rest is history lol.

BTW, I did ask around to see if he had owners here. A lady had been feeding him for quite some time, and she said he was a stray. I still can't figure out how Ollie could be so cool if he was a stray. I'm thinking he had a good home one day, and maybe he got out and got lost. Or maybe he is just really special and became so social because all the kids outside played with him. I guess we will never know! I worried for awhile that someone would see him and claim him, but no one did. And since he was loaded with fleas and underfed, it was obvious he wasn't being taken care of properly.

He's definitely unlike any cat I have ever seen. He's like a child to us and we love him so much!

That 1st pic made me laugh out loud!
That has to be the most relaxed cat I've ever encountered..

Answer:
He is such an adorable character! And what a special story to go along with him. I was going to ask if you knew how old he is, but probably not since he was a stray, huh?

He was only 6-12 months old when he found us, so I'm guessing he's about 2 years old now. He's a youngin lol. I forgot to mention that he was already neutered when he found us, which is why I think he used to have a home. People around here often leave their cats when they move out. Although its hard for me to picture anyone wanting to leave Ollie!

Yep Sue, he is extremely relaxed! I used to even take him in the car with me when he was younger. He has his own car seat! The only reason I stopped was because he's so large now and its hard for me to carry him to the parking lot. There are just too many dogs outside and its too risky. Maybe when we get a house we can start up again. You can imagine people's faces when we went through drive-through restaurants. They thought it was so cool that Ollie was in the car, strapped into his car seat.
