Hi Lixx - how is the patient doing?


Answer:
Thanks for asking! We just came home from our latest bandage change. The front leg is doing very well and should be unbandaged soon. The rear leg is healing okay. It slipped a bit and one of the pins moved, but it's still 'there' enough to heal decently. It's very likely that he'll have a very noticable limp with it though. Still no true ETA for that bandage to come off, though he may get a soft cast next week and no splint. He himself is doing very well. He has mastered walking on 2 legs and the front bandage and gets around the room fine. He hates being confined to his cage 90% of the day, but I try to let him out as much as I can. Rest is still his friend though!
