Back from the Vet

Question:
Okay...now that I've had my cry over this I can repeat it.
I feel just...terrible. Bad cat owner.
Meeko's dirty ears are mites. He has them so bad in one ear they blocked...something...maybe the passage? He's on some tresaderm...Pickles too. She has them a little.
Meeko is also on Clavamox for his sneezes and stuff. Pickles didn't get any because it isn't as bad and she should be able to fight it.
Each got a needle. I don't know what kind...the paper is in french.
I also have to go back to get the Fenbendazole...which is the stuff for the soft poos. I will also bring a sample of stool.
I feel so terrible. My poor babies.

Answer:
Poor things,
You are not a bad pet owner, at least you did the responsible thing and took them to the vet,
hoping for a speedy recovery

Answer:
Don't feel bad..
I knew immediately that it was earmites.. very common in kittens. They'll feel better in a couple weeks. Teresa is right.. at least you got it checked out at the Vet Clinic... Did the Vet recommend a different food for the soft poops or are they going to wait for a fecal exam first?

Answer:
Thanks guys!
Well I am to bring them the stool tomorrow. But when I told her what I was feeding them she sort of frowned. LOL
I explained that when I got Pickles I had her on the Nutrience but she must have been alergic. After that I put her on the purina and she was fine. I told the vet I was nervous to switch her before now. And I am. Especially now that she can't get it IN the litter box. At anyrate I will switch them. I did notice cleaning up the tray that Pickles poop seems to have tiny granules of the food left.
The vet feds the cats and dogs Hills. But I checked the bag and that didn't seem any better ingredient wise. Corn meal was #2 right after the by-product.

Answer:
I'm glad you took them to the vets, and that they are going to be ok.

Answer:
You're the one that can't get any of the better brands in your town right?
I have noticed with my foster kittens that they seem to do well (poop wise) on Science Diet kitten. I agree about the ingredients but when you have little to choose from, I'd go with that.

Answer:
Yep that would be me. Well I will have to see what she says tomorrow.

Answer:
Hoping the kitties are doing better on their meds for you....glad you got them to the vet so quickly.

Answer:
You're not a bad cat owner. Bad cat owners don't take their cats to the vet to get them better, but rather just do nothing and let them suffer. I'm sure they'll be feeling better again in no time.
