Question:
I got my first hammock recently, and since it went over so well, decided to give everyone their own hammock. I made them myself, but used a different fabric because it gets so hot here. I used flannel instead and they turned out GREAT. So far 1/2 are stunned and think it's food and the other 1/2 have turned into narcolept chins-and just fell asleep immediately

Nah, the tough part was cutting out the shapes, after that I gave them to hubby's aunt and then she sewed them, they I cut a hole in the arms and put in the little grommet type thingies. I made 6 hammocks for about $20. I'm pleased with the fabric, the flannel is cooler than the fleece, and it gets SO hot here.

Thats great you made your own, where do you get the gromets at? Are they easy to put in? Im thinking of making some myself but didnt know where the heck to get gromets or how to put them in lol.
