Question:
Well, I got home from work to find that Daisy and Dew had managed to escape from their cage, but thats not the big news
Back in October we put our Brown Velvet boy in with our Standard and Pink White female Pair. All went well for a bit, but after only a few weeks the girls started beating on the poor guy. I'd say they were together a total of 6 weeks (give or take a day or two). Well we somewhat suspected Pika was preggie, but weren't 100% sure since we had never seen either of them express an interest in each other, but suspected because of the weight gain. Well, here we are 123 days after we officially put them together and I am now the proud furless-grandmother of an adorable Black Velvet baby girl!!!
Here is a pic of Momma and baby in the background. 'Aunty' Paige is loving her new little 'neice' as well. It's so cute to see them all snuggled together. Same with when Paige had Boo.
She is very hard to photograph and none of our lights are bright enough to take a decent picture without the flash which washes her color out extremely much, I'll try to get a better one of her tomorrow in the daylight. :P
I believe her name will be Precious
