Question:
I am getting a kitten tomorrow afternoon!!! I don't know if it is male or female yet but it is 6 weeks old and a long haired calico. There are 5 of them in the Airdrie petstore that someone found in a garage that had been abandoned. They are all going in tomorrow morning to get their first shots. They are all such sweet little things, I just don't understand how someone could just leave these poor defenceless little creatures to die. At least someone found them. Normally I wouldn't purchase from a petstore as you don't know the history and such, but these are basically rescue kittens. I am so excited, I already have all the toys (although I'll be getting more! lol) and I have kitten food and kitty litter, kitty litter box, etc. I am so happy!!!!!!!!

Thats what I noticed about calicos, that they were all female I'm happy thats what I wanted. Her name is going to be "Nohea Okalani". Nohea means "loveliness" in Hawaiian and Okalani means "from heaven" in Hawaiian.

Congrats, im so jealouse, I love calico's. I casually mentioned to hubby the other day how id love a calico or black and white kitten, he told me after he was dead he could careless but berfore that no more cats in this house, cant say I blame him I knew it going in and was very blessed he let Preciouse stay so ill just have to drool over yours when you post pictures.

If they were cheaper or free kittens I'd be getting all 5, believe me! They are all so sweet. When I get it spayed, shots, buying food, litter, etc. I just don't have the money to get more than one. As most of money goes towards saving for vet bills and chin stuff, the chins are my first priority. Although I think the kitten may have something to say about that
