Pickles
Question: Last night Pickles was in a really strange mood. Maybe she felt guilty for tearing my shower curtains apart (yeah right!). Normally, she'll let you pet her in passing but that's all. She doesn't enjoy being held for too long (although she won't bite or scratch but she'll push you away with her paws) if at all. Though, for whatever reason, (and I'm not complaining) she sat in my lap when I picked her up, and I pet her for a good 10 minutes. I didn't hold onto her, she could go at any time but she was content to sit there and be petted. Meeko looked incredibly jealous. LOL He gives his affection freely, but it's always nice when Pickles decides it's okay to be loved on a bit. Answer: Awww, I cherish the few moments Molson is affectionate, mostly he just wants to chew on your arm Answer: That's how I feel when Sadie lets me cuddle her for a few minutes. It feels like I won a prize! Answer: My cats are all lovey-dovey on their own terms and will from time to time crawl up on my lap for a bit of lovin'. They hate being picked up and cuddled, though. Bruce is the most stand-offish of the lot - he plays hard to get and doesn't even want to be petted most of the time; just wants to be close to me without being touched. So it's an honour when he comes to me to be petted. Answer: That sounds lovely! There's nothing better than having a cat in your lap. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
