My First ebony Kits

Question:
I can't thank Laurie enough for the Dad Raven, my first ebony.
Before his first birthday he became a Dad with Sandy a hetero I bred from my standard line, and a br.velvet.
I found the Mom late morning wet and tired.Watching her she would stand on her hind legs, push and squeal. I could see a head, but I was worried.
i reached in and craddled the head in my palm, with a finger on either side of it and her opening. When she stood and pushed the next time I eased the kit foreward and applied a little pressure to the Mom. Out it popped, and the look on Sandy was worth a mint. She went right into Mom mode so I left her to it.
A little while later I went back to check and found a second kit, what I thought was another ebony dried to be a nice dark tan. Her tail is as dark brown as can be.
Being my firsts we are keeping them.
The Ebony, is Charity and is going to my daughter, and the tan Ginger is staying with me.

Answer:
Thanks a bunch,Brandy,ghostdesire,suzoo,& Carleen.
I fall in love with each new color, and so envy those of you able to breed so many.
Not much of a market here for chins, so my breeding is limited to the number I can keep in comfort.
I'm now known as NL's Antiques and chinchilla collector. I want at least one chin of every color.
